With the addition of a new band member, there are also new pictures required. That’s why Nem-Q asked ruudC Fotografie to shoot some new band photos. Have a look at the results: Promo photos
Maarten Meeuws: the new Nem-Q bass player
Maarten: I have been active for more than 17 years in various bands: Chestnut (rock/grunge), Audiction (rock), Wisehead (ska/rock), The Jackanapes (ska). I’ve gained a lot of stage experience in these bands in both the domestic and international club circuit, and performed on festivals, TV and radio.
I was looking for a new musical challenge for a while, and have found it with Nem-Q. The music fits well with my own musical preferences. The passion, the vision and plans of the band fit perfectly with my own drive and musical desires. I can’t wait to share the stage with these four great guys!
The band: Maarten has been working on new Nem-Q material with the band for some weeks now. From the first moment, the vibe was right and everybody got really excited about the new songs. Therefore we are very happy to introduce Maarten as the new Nem-Q bass player!
Bandphotos coming soon.

It is with a heavy heart that this summer we will have to say goodbye to our bass player Henri van Zelst.
Since the first moments Nem-Q took shape he has accompanied us on our tours, the recording of our cd’s and the many hours in rehearsal. Due to a growing difference in musical taste and lifestyle he has chosen to leave us with a decade worth of fond memories.
We wish Henri fun and best wishes for whatever will cross his future musical career.
Sign language interpreter Mariska Bergs translated a couple of Nem-Q songs for the deaf and hearing impaired and will perform live on stage with the band on the 31st of May at the RascalFest festival.
Come to see Nem-Q and Mariska on the main stage at 3:00pm. Admission price for the deaf and hearing impaired is reduced from €10 to €5.
